Shipping and Delivery
Shipping options depend on the product, the supplier and your destination in the European Union and wider Europe. The supplier confirms them in the quotation.
What the quotation states
- Trade terms (for example EXW, FOB, CIF, DAP or DDP) and who pays freight and insurance
- Production and delivery lead time
- Packaging, sample availability and sample cost
- Shipping method: sea, air, rail or courier
Overseas cloud warehouses and showrooms
Where a supplier stocks goods in an overseas cloud warehouse, delivery is faster; the product page or quotation says so. Selected products can also be inspected in an overseas showroom before you buy.
Duties, taxes and customs
Import duties, VAT or GST and customs clearance in Europe depend on the product and the agreed trade term. Unless the quotation says delivered duty paid, the buyer is the importer of record and pays these charges.
